It was a 1969 Ford Falcon converted to a floor shifter (3 speed, I think, but maybe a 4?).
It looked like this one (same color, coupe)... This was the best picture I could find online since I don’t have one of hers. She drove a manual while my dad drove an automatic. This sort of reflects which one of them was more mature in the relationship, too.
She also helped me get my license in spite of my father opposing it and taught me how to operate a manual transmission in a 1970 VW T2 Transporter (Bus).
I love my mom.
